Platinum Jubilee celebrations finale!
Sadly we were double booked at The Halfway House Beer Festival but we still had the Pilmer Road Platinum Jubilee Street Party in Crowborough to look forward to and what a fun gig it turned out to be!
We set up in a gazebo on top of a raised lawn which offered great views for everybody. Union Jacks, red, white and blue bunting everywhere, tables with food covered by gazebos ran right the way along the street – the residents had gone to town and created the perfect street party!
Proceedings were opened by Her Majesty the Queen who arrived in the de rigueur black Range Rover and Her Majesty opened proceedings!
We got started and had a lot of fun. Children were dancing around, residents enjoyed their teas.
A great way to finish U-Turn’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations and I don’t think we’ll ever forget it!
