Late summer afternoon gig near Maidstone
U-Turn were back again at The Potting Shed in Langley, near Maidstone, Kent. Another early evening gig outside the pub – it was fingers crossed they would be no rain. The Potting Shed is a spacious architect-designed pub. The beer garden lawn and play area stretch down to the long patio (where we played) beside the floor to ceiling glass doors. The high ‘A’ frame interior is inspired by Scandinavian architecture and gives has an open plan feel. We’d highly recommend a visit!
U-Turn formed up with Neil, Chris, Rob, Pete B, Paul Annis and David Lofts making his U-Turn debut. The late afternoon turned out to be a bit cooler and Chris improvised with a sheepskin rug to give him that Caveman chic vibe!
Thanks to the staff at The Potting Shed, Langley for making us feel welcome and the audience for getting in to the spirit of things as they often do!
