Back in Lamberhurst
U-Turn played again at The Vineyard in Lamberhurst in the 6.30pm – 8.30pm slot. The large marquee erected during Covid had been removed and replaced with a new smaller band only marquee. It was a hot sunny day so great to seek shade under. The Vineyard has a very nice beer garden making it a good place for a summer gig, particularly when the sun’s out!
We formed up with Neil, Chris, Tim, Rob, Pete B, Stuart Marlow and Dan Evans on percussion. It was all a bit tight getting everyone there – Tim was just back from his annual pirate convention and Chris rushed back from a sea fishing trip off Thanet, but still made it! …of course!
