JHF Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
It was great to back at The King William IV in Pembury, Kent for another cancer charity music event organised by Dan Littlechild. This live music event was to raise funds for The Jay Harmer Foundation charity who U-Turn have supported on many occasions.
We were given a 50 minute slot at 8pm and we had Neil, Chris, Tim, Pete B as well as Sonny Flint who joined for the first time playing drums. Sonny’s an old friend and band mate of Neil’s from many moons ago – we lost count and panicked when trying to work it out! The weather was good so we sat out in the garden initially to watch David Lofts and Pete B’s set. Pete was on Double Bass!
All in all we had a good time and enjoyed the good atmosphere at this event – there’s usually a good friendly crowd at the King William IV. Big thanks the Dan Littlechild and his team for all their hard work and dedication to this worthy cause! Bravo!
